In 1983, Barbara Streisand released her first directing effort, with "Yentl." Not only was the film successful, but the soundtrack album itself had a Top 10 position on the charts. The second film that Barbara Streisand directed was the beautiful film "the Prince of Tides" where she also played opposite Kevin Costner.
