About Beth Orton
Mixing folk elements and electronica have earned British singer-songwriter Bet Orton the genre classification of folktronica. Beth Orton first came into listeners' attention for her singing with the Chemical Brothers, collaborations that included vocals on a 1995 song Alive Alone from the Chemicals' Exit Planet Dust. In later work Beth Orton would turn to a more folk direction and more diverse directions.
