The concept of Blood, Sweat and Tears came from the mind of All Kooper, who wanted to build a band that would use horns together with guitarists and combine rock with Jazz. At first he though to raise money and build Blood, Sweat and Tears in London, but ultimately he found a group of musicians working for him.
