Boards of Canada, the Scottish duo consisting of brothers Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin is unlike many other electronic groups. Although deep into the electronic scene, Boards of Canada do not fall into a cold, detached and alienated sound but rather are able to create a warm sound, often regarded as nostalgic, mainly by the lyrics they sample form film and TV and the music they record with analog equipment.
