The third album that Bon Jovi released, and the one that made them superstars, was called "Slippery When Wet." Written with songwriter Desmond Child and auditioned before teenagers in New Jersey and New York, the album went on to sell nine million copies. Two Bon Jovi songs from the album reached the number one spot, 'You Give Love a Bad Name' and 'Livin' on a Prayer.'
