Brian Wilson is said to have been a perfectionist in the studio, perhaps contributing to his early demise when he found himself taking too many drugs and even failing to compose and record new music. Amazingly enough, Brian Wilson was partially deaf, although his ear for music was perhaps unparallel in the history of rock and roll, Wilson being an innovator of music and sound.
