About Cannonball Adderley
Having played with Miles David in the late 50s, Cannonball Adderley has then followed a somewhat similar path as the one David has gone down. Cannonball Adderley was influenced by the electric jazz avant garde, most notably represented by Davis' Bitches Brew. In 1970 Cannonball Adderley recorded The Price You Got to Pay to Be Free, a politically conscious, artistically unyielding and musically experimental album.
