About Catamenia
Catamenia is a much respected musical group that was initially founded in Oulu, Finland. The band's musical style can be characterized as black metal. The band was formed in 1995 by original members Riku Hopeakoski and Mika Tonning in Oulu, Finland. Catamenia released their first demo album in their first active year. Their second demo, "Winds" in 1996, led to a four-album contract with Massacre Records in 1997.
