Creedence Clearwater Revival toured the US extensively, trying to capitalize on the success they received in selling their albums and playing their music on the radio stations. One of the most memorable stops on their tours was at the Woodstock Music and Art Festival in 1969, their most successful year, during which the Creedence Clearwater Revival reached the near top of the charts with Proud Mary and other hit singles.
