About Doves
The Doves, another "big thing" to come from Manchester, England, have formed in 1998, after previous collaboration of all three members on the dance combo Sub Sub. Their studio burned down and prompted their new indie rock career as the Doves, named so after the phrase 'Like doves rising from the ashes."
