About Echo and The Bunnymen
It took Echo and the Bunnymen a few years only after the 1978 formation. By the mid 80s, Echo and the Bunnymen had a Top 10 hit (The Cutter), a #2 album (Porcupine) and the critics' approval. Their success was practically assured. Alas, Echo and the Bunnymen split by the end of the decade, as frontman Ian McCulloch left and then drummer Pete de Freitas died.
