About Echo and The Bunnymen
Lead singer McCulloch left & the Bunnymen to pursue a solo career; the rest of the band decided to continue without the singer. Tragedy hit Echo & the Bunnymen in the summer of 1989 when drummer de Freitas was killed in an auto accident.
