About Enya
Enya, born Eithne Ní Bhraonáin was born in Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland, which she left in order to join Clannad, a band in which her older brothers and sisters were already members of. However, Enya soon left the band, saying that the pop direction that the band was going in did not suit her, and began a solo career.
