About Foo Fighters
The Foo Fighters do many things that nirvana wouldn't have, in their musical style or business choices. This is one of the reasons that Dave Grohl did not share his music writing with his band members during the grunge years in Seattle, instead waiting for his chance to record the material with a band he would form, which happened to be the Foo Fighters, a group he formed shortly after the end of Nirvana.
