About Fountains Of Wayne
Fountains of Wayne are based around the two band founders, songwriters Adam Schlesinger and Chris Collingwood. At first the two got together around their mutual like of melodic British pop. In their second come around, about ten years later in New York, they already formed Fountains of Wayne, an alternative pop band of sorts, with concert-oriented songs, rather meaningless lyrics and an enthusiastic college radio listeners' following.
