Singer-songwriter, later actor Ian Dury has recorded numerous hits, at least they were so in the UK, between his first days with a pub act in 1971 and until his death in 2000. Ian Dury has also tried acting as a career, mainly after his albums failed in the US. As an actor he played in several plays, television shows and films.
