About John Hiatt
John Hiatt was born in Indianapolis, Indiana where he first played guitar and piano. He would later move to Nashville, Tennessee, where he worked as a songwriter, with his songs reaching the right people and the Top 40, namely the Three Dog Night version of his song Sure As I'm Sitting Here. John Hiatt would soon take off on a solo career, first to minor commercial success, and slowly gaining a fan base and having songs of his covered by Bob Dylan (The Usual) and others.
