About Julio Iglesias
Before Julio Iglesias embarked on a singing career, he trained to be a lawyer at Cambridge Universtiy. The first time he was on stage was in 1968 at the Spanish Song Festival at Benidorm, singing his original song 'La Vida Sigue Igual.' Julio Iglesias won the first prize at the contest, which led to a record contract with Discos Columbia, an independent record label.
