About Keith Jarrett
Miles Davis heard Keith Jarrett in a New York jazz club and invited him to play with him. Jarrett, a pianist, was asked to play the electronic organ, then the electric piano after Chick Corea left the group, even though he was not fond of the electric instruments. Out of respect to Miles Davis, and being open to changes at the early stage of his career, Keith Jarrett did as asked and set his path to become one of the greatest jazz pianist ever since.
