About Kiss
The name of the band, in the case of Kiss, is not so simple to point at. One possibility is the acronym for Knights In Satan's Service. The band never admitted to this, instead offering the explanation that the name Kiss was a spur of the moment choice. The logo, however, was more carefully chosen, with the ‘ss' looking like double lightning bolts and implying the shiny stage appearance of the band members and their lightning fast hard rock music.
