About Lee Morgan
Lee Morgen started off playing the trumpet at the age of 14, and within four years was already a member of Dizzy Gillespie's big band. Later in his music career, after changing bands and playing with different jazz masters, even leading his own group, Lee Morgen went in the direction of an even freer jazz style, more avant-garde, although still planted in tradition.
