Grindcore is a fusion of thrash metal on the one hand and hardcore punk on the other, the result being a loud, angry and hostile sound; the result being the sound of the band Napalm Death. Influenced equally by Slayer and the thrash metal genre, and Black Flag and hardcore punk, Napalm Death has created a new sound and a new style.
