28 year old Shaffer Chimere Smith, aka Ne-Yo, released his debut album ‘In My Own Words’ in 2006. Ne-Yo won Best R&B Male Artist 2007 in the BET Awards and also nabbed a Grammy in 2008 for Best Contemporary R&B Album.
