About Run DMC
In 1986 Run-D.M.C. issued the hit single entitled "My Adidas". The full-length Raising Hell was released the same year. The record flew up to the top of hip-hop and R&B charts and went platinum. Run-D.M.C. continued their success with such singles as "It's Tricky" and "You Be Illin'."
