The retro sound that Stereolab bring to their music, with classic female backing vocals, vintage keyboards and 50s pop and lounge influences has contributed to the Brit pop movement. Stereolab influences can be related to Damon Albarn, for example, for his love of retro keyboards himself. Stereolab singer Laetitia Sadier was in fact invited to sing with Blur on a track on Parklife.
