About The Go-Betweens
Australian rock band The Go-Betweens formed in 1977 and has influenced a long list of bands and artists with their music, which has won over the hearts and pens of many critics throughout the 80s but failed repeatedly to enter the charts, a commercial failure time and again. The Go-Betweens has nevertheless established its reputation as a cult band, and even re-appeared in 2000 with a second chapter until the death of one of its founders, Grant McLennan.
