About UB40
UB40 started off as a reggae band, a group of eight musicians, in 1979, before they even knew to play their instruments. Their first live gig was a friend's birthday party. But soon enough the road would clear for UB40, with singles such as King/Food for Thought that reached #4 on the UK chart and an invitation by the Pretenders to be their opening act.
