The Power Station rock band was founded in the middle 80's by former Duran Duran members Simon Lebon (vocals), Andy Taylor (guitar), Nick Rhodes (keyboards), John Taylor (bass), Roger Taylor (drums), and solo singer Robert Palmer. The group released its debut eponymous album in 1985. Singles "Bang a Gong" and "Some Like It Hot" sent the LP to the top of charts.
