The Los Angeles-based synth pop group Berlin was formed by bassist John Crawford, singer Terri Nunn and keyboard player David Diamond. For the first time they impressed USA with the provocative single "Sex (I'm a...)" from the gold-selling debut EP Pleasure Victim in 1982. Some time later guitarist Rick Olsen, keyboard player Matt Reid and drummer Rob Brill also joined the group. In 1984 Berlin issued its first full-length LP Love Life.
